Founded in 2003 in a former children's daycare in Berlin (hence "MYKITA" - German for "my kindergarten"), the brand revolutionized eyewear with its patented screwless hinge system.
MYKITA's founders—Moritz Krueger, Philipp Haffmans, Harald Gottschling, and Daniel Haffmans—shared a vision: to create eyewear that challenged conventional manufacturing while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Today, MYKITA operates from a state-of-the-art facility in Berlin, where each frame is still handmade by skilled artisans. The brand has become synonymous with innovation, combining cutting-edge technology with traditional techniques to create eyewear that is both functional and beautiful.

Every MYKITA frame represents the perfect fusion of innovative engineering and meticulous handcraft. Using ultra-thin stainless steel and premium materials, each piece embodies precision, durability, and timeless design.
The revolutionary screwless spiral hinge system provides flexibility and strength without traditional weak points.
Stainless steel sheets as thin as 0.5mm combined with premium acetate and innovative composites.
Each frame is crafted by hand in Berlin, ensuring uncompromising quality and attention to detail.
